Green Living SIG: Lifeline Clothing and Textile Recycling Factory
Date: Saturday, 2nd September 2023
Time: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

We all know that the fashion industry accounts for 10% of global carbon emissions – more than international flights and maritime shipping combined! Life Line Clothing Malaysia was formed in 2013 with one goal in mind: to reduce Malaysia's fabric waste pollution and divert textiles away from landfills. What happens to clothes that are still wearable and reusable? And what happens to fabrics that are at the end of their useful lives? Do join our educational field trip to see what happens to the preloved clothes and fabric items that are deposited into the Kloth Cares fabric recycling bins placed all over the country!
