MNS Selangor Branch Open Day + World Environment Day celebration

Do you love nature? Want to experience and learn more about Malaysia's biodiversity, meet like-minded people and have fun? Talk to us!

Come celebrate World Environment Day with MNS members. There will be booths by all the Special Interest Groups of MNS Selangor Branch showcasing our activities, including BIRD, NATURE GUIDES, GREEN LIVING, HERPETOFAUNA (reptiles & amphibians), CAVE, and MARINE. There will also be a booth by MYCAT on citizen conservation initiatives.

All are welcome. Entrance tickets to Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam cost RM3 for adults and RM1 for children/seniors but MNS members and children aged 6 and below can enter for free. Just remember to bring your membership card. The venue is generously sponsored by Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam.

Those who register early at the Visitor's Centre will receive a door gift. There will also be free plant giveaways thanks to the Free Tree Society Kuala Lumpur. And test your GREEN LIVING knowledge in an Eco IQ Hunt!

Activities will be kick-started with a bird-watching trip at 7.30am by the BIRD GROUP. Registration details are at Bird watching in Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam in conjunction with MNS Selangor Branch Open Day. The meeting point is at the car park near the main entrance.

After the event wraps up, lunch will be provided for volunteers at Camar Rimba. There is a nice pool there, all members are also welcome to join us for some fun in the pool. See you there!
