Fee: RM15 per person includes insurance for members 7-65yo. Children under 6 and Seniors 66yo and above, pay RM10.

Join us for a special visit to the Biomedical Museum at the Institute for Medical Research (IMR).
Discover the fascinating zoological collection of the late Dr. Lim Boo Liat, a respected zoologist and MNS honorary member. The museum showcases his preserved specimens—including small mammals, reptiles, and rodents—used in medical research.
This is a rare chance to explore IMR's scientific heritage. Note that the museum is only open on weekdays (closed on public holidays).
This visit also commemorates the founding of the Selangor Branch of the Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) on June 27, 1953. The IMR played a key role in MNS's early days, hosting its 6th AGM (& many other talks) under then-Director Dr. John William Field.
