EVENT: [LITE SERIES] PF54u Lata Gapi (Selangor) Hiking & Plogging



When: 24 August 2025 (Sunday) at 7:30 am.

Where: Lata Gapi Waterfall, near Antara Gapi, Selangor.

Joining fee: Free, for members only.


       


Track Details

Duration: up to 4 hours

Difficulty: 2/5 (crossing streams require good agility; still, there is a hill to ascend)

Risk: 1/5

Distance: 5 km (to and back)

Stream crossing: yes, 3-4 times.

Pathfinders are well-known to be hiking fast to cover long distance trails. Many times, we failed to appreciate (or disgusted by) all the small things we see on the trails – flower, fungi, rubbish!

This round, we will do a short hike to a beautiful waterfall – but we will really slow down for the following:

Bird/damselfly-watching on the way in.
Mini-recce to the top of the waterfall (no guarantee it will lead us anywhere).
Plogging (pick rubbish) on our way out.

We adopt Leave-No-Trace (LNT) principles in all our outdoor activities.

Limited places. If you are successful, you will be added into a Telegram chatgroup for the event. More information will be provided in the chatgroup.
