Pasoh is one of the last surviving patches of primary lowland dipterocarp forest on the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Famous for its towering old-growth trees, rich biodiversity, and decades of scientific research, this tropical rainforest is truly special. And the best part? It’s only a 2.5-hour drive from the Klang Valley! Join the MNSSB Flora SIG for a weekend of forest adventures as we team up with Stesen Penyelidikan FRIM (SPF) Pasoh. Come experience the magic of wildlife, plants, and rainforest exploration up close.

🌳 Guided Botanical Walk Journey through regenerated and primary forests with botanist Yao Tze Leong (FRIM), who has over 15 years of experience in botany and ecology and has even discovered new plant species in Malaysia and Borneo.
🐦 Birdwatching Bring your binoculars and enjoy the sights and sounds of Pasoh’s feathered residents.
🏠 Accommodation Stay at the SPF Staff Quarters in Simpang Pertang – simple, comfortable rooms with air-conditioning, or ceiling fans.
🎟️ Forest Entrance Permit A pass from the Forest Department to explore Pasoh Forest Reserve.

Log in to MNS Member Portal Go to "Activities" → "Calendar (Nov 2025)" → Select "Nature Walk in Pasoh Forest (Nov 1)" Tap the green shopping cart → Fill in your details → Upload your payment slip. If you can’t see the green shopping cart, sign up or log in.
4. Confirm Your Registration:
After completing payment, you will receive an email with a link to a Google Form for logistics and insurance purposes.
