EVENT: Introduction to Birdwatching (CAKE16)

Fee: 

• RM140 (Public family member child–parent pair)
• RM120 (MNS family members enjoy RM20 off for 2 pax)
• The fee includes a birdwatcher's starter kit, use of binoculars, all climate action materials, mentor guidance, and KL City Hall park permit.

MNS Selangor Branch in conjunction with MNS Selangor Branch Bird Group (SBBG) are excited to invite you to our upcoming field trip, “Introduction to Birdwatching (CAKE16)”—a fun and educational outdoor experience designed especially for children and families to learn an introduction to birdwatching under the guidance of the SBBG, how birds are affected by climate change, and little ways you can help them!

 

🌿 Programme Overview

Join us for a delightful Bird Hunt at Taman Tasik Permaisuri, Kuala Lumpur! This beginner-friendly birdwatching session is specially crafted for children aged 9–12 and their parents. Participants will:

• Learn to identify garden and water birds
• Discover the connection between birds and climate change
• Contribute to a citizen science observation
• Get creative by designing your own bird-friendly garden using air clay models
• Make your own hanging bird bath to bring home

👨‍👩‍👧 Who Can Join

This programme is open to children aged 9–12 accompanied by a parent. For an additional child, please contact [email protected] for the price.

Please note: Participation is limited to the first 18 participants, and we are currently unable to accommodate children outside this age range.
