Calling All Young Nature Detectives!


Have your kids ever wondered what mysteries are hiding beneath the forest trees?

Join the Climate Action Kids Engagement (CAKE) Field Trip to Taman Rimba Bukit Kerinchi and step into the fascinating world of fungi! Together with expert mentors from the Malaysian Nature Society Selangor Branch Mycology Group, children aged 7–12 and their parents will discover colourful mushrooms, learn how to identify common wild fungi, and uncover the important role fungi play in keeping nature healthy.

What you'll explore:
How to spot and identify common wild mushrooms
The vital role fungi play in our ecosystems
How climate change affects fungi—and how young nature champions can help


This fun, beginner-friendly outdoor adventure is packed with hands-on activities, exploration, and discovery for you and your child(ren).
